Meet Chrysti & Kanina
The idea of The Self Hug started over a two-hour phone call in 2020, when our founders talked about their life and mental health crisis. One and a half years later, The Self Hug was incorporated as PT Pikiran Jiwa Raga, and have impacted over 10,000 people through their products and services.

Prior to turning their passion for wellness into a business, Chrysti & Kanina have significant years of experience behind them working for a leading tech company and a prominent global law firm.

Both have been good friends for over 10 years, with a mutual outlook on life yet complementary skill sets - a unique combination which has made the business work. Kanina heads the business development, operations and program partnerships, while Chrysti leads the brand, community, product design and development.
